Heads up, webmasters and designers. This was news to me, so I thought other designers might have missed this, too.

I was reading some of the e-mail we get from our online forms and this caught my eye.

"Mail.cgi and the URL http://cgi.asu.edu/cgi-bin/mail.cgi have reached end-of-life and will be retired 3/31/2009. Any existing html forms previously using mail.cgi should be updated to use the service detailed at http://help.asu.edu/CGI_Tools_Mail"

So if you use the “mail.cgi” in your online forms to send form contents to an e-mail address, you will want to update those web pages to the new routine.
