A couple of us have approached Aquafold for pricing information for Aqua Data Studio 6.0.
A single academic license costs $150. However pricing dramatically drops as the number of licenses increases. For instance, it would cost $200 for 2 licenses, $250 for 3 licenses, $300 for 5 or $350 for 10 licenses.
Aquafold is interested in providing as low a price for academic institutions but still be able to cover costs for support and order processing and control the distribution of license keys to prevent misuse of software licenses.
Would other members of the community be interested in this newer version of Aqua Data Studio? Feature set for version 6.0 http://www.aquafold.com/features_6_0.html
Our group uses Aqua Data quite a bit, but we use the older, free version.
I must admit, though, I've grown accustomed to using SQuirreL for most of my interactive SQL needs. It's open source and free, so that's attractive.
There are some very nice features in Aqua Data though, has anyone noticed a big reason to jump from 4.7 (free) to the 6.0 (pay) version?

We will have TOAD up and running soon on the Citrix box! This is by far the best IDE for SQL writting and database tuning.
