Looks like the threads have kind of died down...I noticed an old thread about Ogate and a post to a blog, and I was wondering if these resources are still active. My student organization, IEEE CS , is in the process of building a new website, and we would like to be able to help students create study groups by interfacing with the Course Catalog to retrieve course information. We figure it's no use having users recreate that information for our database, better to adhere to the DRY principle instead. Does anyone have experience with this?
It is my understanding from conversations with Kendall Burkhart that Ogate isn't being supported. UTO would like to move away from it.
I had been using UTO's IIS web server for a project, using an ODBC connection to PSREP and PSREPRD, but Kendall explained that this method is very slow and hopes to have a better system for making data available to departments within a few months.
