ASU GUI Comp 1 A

Overall: The general feel (implied brand) of this comp is of modern design, clarity, direction, and innovation. ASU's identity is reinforced through prominent logo use and established colors.

Top Bar: The top bar in this composition contains the links illustrated in the ASU template provided. The maroon is based on ASU color standard. Though this is a derivation from the provided template, the maroon provides more contrast to the ASU logo/signature. Plus, it sets the top bar navigation at the top of the visual hierarchy. The secondary navigation is used to divide the top bar from subsequent content.

Content Area: The primary graphic is intended to rotate an be more generalized -- the tabs to the right would open/expand when clicked to expose a photo or brief that would prompt the user to navigate for more information. These "tabs" could be articles and info relating to ASU New American University implementation in the community, education, research, etc.

The "NEWS" has been down played and would have a drop-down menu to link to a news page or individual articles.

The "Information For" space is links primarily for the categories listed. The adjacent column links would change and be geared toward what was selected under the header.

Footer: The footer was designed to close the page and give a visual sense of ending the content area.
