After reviewing all of the feedback that has come in concerning Round 1 of the redesign, we are narrowing our focus. The layout that seems to fit our needs, is a combination of version D and version G (with elements of version B's feature area). So on to Round 2....

With Round 2, we decided to take the layout down to a wireframe, and open the creative process up to anyone who wants to contribute. Below are the links to the wireframe PDFs (or you can also download a .zip of the .ai files). If you would like to throw your ideas on the table, just follow the these simple steps:

1. Down the PDF or .ai files below (there are 2 versions, so use which one you feel works better)

2. Create! Make sure the comp really conveys the essence of the New American University (the Creative Brief will help)

3. Post a jpg on the Flickr ASU Designer Share (if you have trouble, give one of us a yell)

4. Then create a new forum here (under the ASU Front Page Redesign Topic) and link to the jpg (500 x 400ish). You can find the URL to the image on Flickr by clicking the "All Sizes" button about the image, and then scroll down to "Grab the photo's URL" (heres an example). Copy and paste that URL into the pop-up menu that comes up when you hit the image icon (picture of the tree) at the bottom of the body copy when you are creating a new forum topic in the Web Community. (I hope that's not confusing. Once again, yell if you have trouble.)

Oh yeah, and the deadline is Thursday, July 5 (sorry its so quick, but we're on a tight schedule)

We can't wait to see what comes up
(we are huge believers in collective-intelligence.)
