Hello,

I am trying to insert a new record and obtain the indentity of the newly created record. The code below works, however it generates two records instead of one. Any ideas why?

This is the code I was given. It's frequently timing out (about half of all transactions), which makes users go back and resubmit their forms. We don't want that.

I use EditPlus for all my light-weight programming needs. It has nice syntax coloring and a built in browser. I've heard UltraEdit is nice. Which ones do you guys use and recommend?
