Dr. Andi Wang is an assistant professor in the polytechnic school (TPS) and the newly founded school of manufacturing systems and networks (MSN) at Arizona State University (ASU). He is also a graduate faculty of the Industrial Engineering (IE) Ph.D. program and the Data Science Analysis, and Engineering (DSAE) Ph.D. program in the School of Computing and Augmented Intelligence (SCAI) in ASU. Before joining Arizona State University in 2021 Fall, he obtained Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and M.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
Dr. Wang's research is on the intersection of data science and engineering. He applies and develops statistical modeling and machine learning methods for data-driven system modeling, multi-modality data fusion and analysis, process monitoring and diagnostics, design optimization, and system prognostics. These methods are being utilized to intelligent systems such as advanced manufacturing, transportation systems, and power systems.
